Ferguson Resource Group Ltd are currently recruiting for a Mobile Electrician based in the North West of England on behalf of one of our Public Sector Clients. As a Mobile Electrician, you will play an important part of a mobile support team that will support sites across the regions and fulfil the role of AP/RPs as required.   The standard hours of work are 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday.    You will be responsible for:  •    Planned and preventative electrical maintenance. •    Diagnosing and replacing failed domestic electrical components. •    Carry out electrical inspection tests and install electrical equipment and wiring across the sites. •    The security of plant, tools and materials and for the safe use of vehicles if needed. •    Responsibility for wearing all PPE, for own health and safety and that of others and the public. •    Responsible for achieving own performance targets. •    Responsible for the management and authorisation of high/low-risk maintenance activity on the FM estate using the Safety Rules as the Authorised/Responsible persons (AP/RP). Training will be provided. •    Other maintenance tasks as required. •    This role will also support both local and business zero carbon programmes, working towards zero carbon in a strategic and lean manner as and where it is appropriate. •    Responsible for ensuring H&S standards are achieved across the contract. •    Security Clearance will be required.   We want to hear from you if you have/are: •    Appropriate technical qualification eg City & Guilds 2365 parts 1-3, BTEC, NVQ level 3 or above •    BS7671 IET Wiring Regulations, specifically 18th Edition*. •    Experience of electrical maintenance activities, general distribution and installation and testing. •    Knowledge and experience of Electrical Systems and Electricity at work Regulations. •    Capable of working at heights. •    Ability to work alone and use initiative. •    Good all-round project management knowledge.  Ideally you will be qualified in 18th Edition (however if you currently only have 17th Edition, we will sponsor you to upgrade to the 18th Edition; terms and conditions apply) with experience in electrical maintenance within a commercial environment.    In addition to this, you will need to have excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) and experience in managing stakeholder relationships at all levels to help you hit the ground running as the role requires adaptability for each site.   What we offer you: •    Career Development - Exceptional development and progression plan •    Pension – Generous Pension scheme which we will contribute to •    Holidays - Minimum 24 days holiday + Bank Holidays •    Choices - Our flexible benefits scheme is tailored by you, including buying additional annual leave, cycle2work scheme, charity giving and gym membership •    Our online voucher portal gives you access to thousands of discounts from leading retailers to help you save on shopping, days out, or nights in.
