Electrician

Ferguson Resource Group Ltd are currently recruiting for an Electrician based in Harrogate on behalf of one of our UK Defence Clients.

As an Electrician in this role, you will be responsible for carrying out repairs and maintenance on various electrical plant and equipment, performing electrical testing on machinery and buildings, and conducting routine inspections across domestic, office, and operational areas. You will also support minor new installations, assist with repairs on fire detection and suppression systems, and ensure all work is completed safely and efficiently while liaising with site personnel.
 
There will also be the opportunity to join an emergency out of hours rota if so desired.
 
What you’ll need:
 
To be considered for this position, you must hold an NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations or have completed a recognized Electrical Apprenticeship along with a City and Guilds certificate. You will need extensive experience working with electrical plant and equipment, along with a strong understanding of IEE regulations, is essential. You should be IT literate and comfortable using Microsoft Office applications and industry-standard software. A full UK driving license is desirable
 
You must be a UK or US National.
 
You must be able to obtain and maintain DV Enhanced Security Clearance.
